Why we started

Picture a Friday evening in London. You send £400 home for school fees due that day. The app takes your money and says "processing". Then nothing, for eleven hours. No explanation, no estimate, no way of knowing where the money is. Your family calls to ask where it is, and you have no answer.

The money turns up in the end. But now you know that app cannot be trusted with anything urgent.

Fees have fallen and transfers have sped up. What has not been fixed is the moment something goes off track. That moment is what we built SendGram around.
